Migrant Worker Camp Visit & Farmworker Fan Drive Sunday, June 24th @ 2pm Eastern Farmworkers Association, Bellport St. John's teens and college students come together and visit a migrant worker camp on Long Island. Eastern Farm Workers is hosting our group by allowing us access to see how migrant workers live on Long Island. This is an opportunity to be present to some of the most marginalized people on the Island.
We will meet with the staff of Eastern Farm Workers for a briefing before hand to discover how they serve and advocate for these laborers. They will also help us to distrubute new fans to those who lack any other way to beat the heat this summer.
Participants will gather the Sunday before, June 17th, for our own theological briefing. Exploring themes of labor, migration and poverty in our own scripture and tradition.

Any meetings may, by group conscience, be designated as a Beginner meeting. These meetings are usually led by more experienced group members with the primary focus on introducing new members to the tools available for the maintenance of sobriety.
Beginners are not restricted to meetings of this type; they are welcomed at all meetings of Alcoholics Anonymous. A benefit of a "beginner" meeting is the opportunity to meet other peers as they start their sober lives.
The Beginner Meeting on the last Tuesday of the month is the anniversary meeting, which is an OPEN meeting.
