Deadline for submission of your video recording is November 19th, 2020.

Let us praise as one voice the glory of His Love!

Christ the King, the final Sunday for the Liturgical Year, calls for eradication of all fears as we bow to the glory of Jesus' Love that has triumphed over death. Let us offer up our fitting praise together with organ and the Chancel Choir.

Here's how:

1. Video record yourself singing along with YouTube video (and be sure to use earphones so that only your voice is recorded).

2. Upload your recording to DropBox: https://www.dropbox.com/request/LZApdRG89rJd7wlOL40q

3. Attend the 10am Sunday worship service on November 22nd as we lift up our voices as offering.

News

St. John's Episcopal Church was the first religious institution to be established in Cold Spring Harbor. The first Episcopalian services were held in the little 18th century school house just above the site of the present church. The very first Vestry minutes, written in fine script on September 4, 1831, lists the founders who pledged $2,000 to build a new church.

Like our lives, our church community is a gift from God we neither earn nor deserve, and yet, it is ours. We are responsible for caring for it, for nourishing it, and for participating in the ever outpouring gift of God's grace which we share through our actions together. We are stewards of these gifts for as long as we live, and we steward the gift of this church so that future generations will have the opportunity to receive God’s grace and put it into action.

Our whole life and ministry is “Grace in Action.”
