"Love is the Way" Book Study Continues

Wednesday evenings at 7:30 pm
January 20 through February 10
"Love is a firm commitment to act for the well-being of someone other than yourself. It can be personal or political, individual or communal, intimate or public. Love will not be segregated to the private, personal precincts of life. Love, as I read it in the Bible, is ubiquitous. It affects all aspects of life." ~ Presiding Bishop Michael Curry in "Love is the Way" (pp. 14-15).
This Wednesday, January 27, clergy and parishioners of St. John's continue to gather to read and discuss Presiding Bishop Michael Curry's recent book "Love is the Way: Holding on to Hope in Troubling Times." - chapters 4 - 6.
Our study will be held on the next four Wednesday evenings at 7:30 pm and will include prayer and mutual reflection. We will begin our discussion of the Introduction and the first three chapters of the book with the remainder of the weeks reading and discussing three chapters each.
All meetings will be held over Zoom here: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/
The book is available as a hardcover, audiobook, or ebook at many online and retail booksellers.
